第一弾では、金色に輝く高さ約10mの巨大な新作彫刻作品である「お花の親子」を六本木ヒルズの玄関・66プラザに展示したり、ヒルズ カフェ/スペースで「お花カフェ」をオープンするなど、コロナ禍で沈む今、来場者の日常に明るい彩りを加え、好評を博してきました。

そんな期間限定プロジェクトのひとつとして、同商業施設にショップを構え、これまでもファッションとアートを結びつけ、独自のカルチャーを生み出してきたSOPH.と村上隆とのコラボレーションが実現しました。

SOPHNET.名義でリリースされるモッズコートは、M-65をモチーフに今回の企画のためにパターンを一から作成。ややゆったりとした現代的なフィットをベースに、バックには「お花の親子」を転写シートプリントで忠実に再現。

素材には、耐久性に優れたバックサテンを使用し、フロントにはオリジナルのインシグニアテープ、グラフィックからリンクしたマルチカラーのスコーピオンピンズが付属するなど、ヴィンテージを再構築したスペシャルな仕上がりとなっています。

3/5(金)より、SOPH. 六本木ヒルズ店のみでの販売となります。

This is a collaboration project between Roppongi Hills started last year and contemporary art artist Takashi Murakami, with the concept of "Connecting hope for the future through art".

In the first stage, the exhibition of the huge new 10 m high sculpture, "Haha Bangla Manus" (Ohana no Oyako) at the entrance of Roppongi Hills at 66 Plaza, and the opening of "Flower Cafe"(Ohana Cafe) at Hills Cafe/Space, added bright colors to the daily lives of visitors, who are suffering from the corona disaster, and have been well received.

As part of this limited time project, a collaboration was realized between Takashi Murakami and SOPH., who opened a shop in the same commercial facility and created a unique culture by connecting fashion and art.

The mods coat released under the name of SOPHNET. uses the motif of M-65 to create a pattern for this project from scratch. Based on a slightly loose modern fit, the back is faithfully reproduced with a transfer sheet print of "Flower Parent and Child"(Ohana no Oyako).

The material is made of durable back satin, and the front features original insignia tape and multicolored scorpion pins linked from the graphic, giving it a special vintage look.
